Just thinking…

An Amazing Two Years

Two years ago, I self-published my first novel entitled: Something New. Eight books later and I can honestly say that I had no idea what my writing journey would bring.

It’s been an interesting ride. Exciting, surprising, and at times downright exhausting, but if I had to pick just one word to describe the journey, I’d have to say it’s been AMAZING! The brainstorming, researching, writing, starting over, writing some more, editing, editing, editing some more, and finally typing – THE END – has been an amazing experience!

I won’t go into great detail about the last two years, but if you want to read snippets of my writing journey, everything from when I created my own book deal, to signing on to write for Harlequin Kimani, here are a few links:

It has truly been an awesome two years! My relationships with my critique partners are stronger than ever and I can’t imagine my life without them. I have met some wonderful authors and love that we all do what we can to support each other. Oh, and don’t even get me started talking about the AWESOME readers out there! YOU GUYS ROCK!

So as you can see, I didn’t get here on my own. I am so thankful to my mentors, critique partners, family, friends, and readers. Thank you all for your continued support and encouragement! It’s been a wonderful two years and I’m looking forward to many years to come!

  3. Hi Sharon, congratulations on your amazing two years anniversary. I love your style of writing – it keeps you reading and wanting to read more and more. I have bought all of your books and read and re read them all. They are all awesome reading – I especially like the Jenkins series and am patiently awaiting Jada’s story having read a preview of it and the next book – Legal Seduction – lots to read . Just finished reading Truth or consequence – I was sad when I finished because I read it so quickly – love the story line and most of all I love Malik – he is so sexy and a great hero . Continue the great and awesome writing and I will keep reading your books. Keep up the good work. I am one of your biggest fan.
